Maybe it’s because I am in full-blown Christmas mode over here, but I am SO EXCITED to share Kristen and Alex’s magical tree farm engagement session with you today!!  Aaagghhhh!  I first met with these cuties in the summer to chat about their amazing wedding day next year, and we got our wheels turning for their engagement session as well.  Kristen mentioned their love for Christmas, and we came up with the plan to take their engagement photos at their local tree farm!  Now I’m sure you’ve all seen amazing tree farm shoots, but what I LOVE about these guys is we didn’t just wander among the pine trees, we actually cut down their Christmas tree and went home to decorate it!  Yessss!!!  This is Kristen and Alex’s first Christmas living together, so it felt extra special that I got to tag along with them to document all the fun.  I met them out at the most adorable little tree farm, Moore’s Tree Farm in Hartville, OH.  It felt like something right out of a Hallmark movie!  The wreath barn added an extra dose of magic, and a great place to warm up with hot chocolate.  This day was freezing, but Kristen and Alex still managed to look so darn cute, despite chattering teeth!  Alex chopped down that tree like a pro, and back to their apartment we went to do some decorating.  Opening all your Christmas tree ornaments and decorations for the first time is so fun!  Michael Buble serenaded us, and their little home was looking festive in no time.

Kristen and Alex, I can’t think of a better way we could have celebrated your engagement and first Christmas together!  You two are just the sweetest, and I for one am glad you asked the teacher to move your seat next to Alex all those years ago :) Enjoy some of my favorites from our day together!
