Traditions are one of the best parts of the holiday season, and the annual CKP Christmas sessions have become my favorite way to kickstart the most festive time of the year!  Every year I have the chance to spend time with my favorite families, and it is so fun to catch up with these awesome people and share some laughs.  I like to switch things up each year as far as the location for these shoots, and this year one of my FAVORITE spots in Youngstown served as our amazing backdrop!  Pioneer Pavilion in Mill Creek Park is a cornerstone of Youngstown history, and it was the perfect spot for some Christmas fun.  I did two weekends of Christmas sessions this year, and the first weekend was a chilly day, but thankfully free of the rain that was in the forecast!  Our second weekend we were not as lucky, and it was a torrential downpour the entire day – good thing I had a backup plan ready to go!  The inside of Pioneer Pavilion is just as awesome as the outside, and the cozy fire indoors kept us all warm and dry.  So excited to share just a few highlights from this year’s sessions, I don’t know how these guys are ever going to pick a Christmas card!

To all the families who signed up for this year’s shoots – THANK YOU!  To the familiar faces and the new ones I had the pleasure of meeting, it was so great to spend this time with you and spread some Christmas cheer.  You all were troopers with the crazy weather, and I for sure appreciate it!  And I think it should also be noted that you are all the most stylish, adorable people around ;)
