The Moore family has a tradition of doing a lifestyle session together every fall to document their family and their growing little ones, Wren and Locke. It makes me so happy when families make a tradition of portraits, and I think that years down the road, this tradition will be something they value even more as they get to sift through old photographs and see how their kids have grown over the years. Jordan and Lucas are just the sweetest parents, and I have to say that they do an impressive job of chasing after these two crazy toddlers and managing to balance it all with grace and love. Last year Locke was just 6 months old when we had their session, but a year later, 18 months means he is much more mobile! This kid is on the go! And big sister Wren is just as sweet as ever, and especially loved being outside in a new place and exploring all the cool things around Lake Newport in Mill Creek Park. I am also happy to report that her love for dinosaurs is still going strong, and she has passed her obsession on to her little brother. This means that we roared a lot, haha! We ran around the beautiful fields surrounding the lake, and then wandered down to the pier that stretches out over Lake Newport just in time for sunset. It seems that fall is arriving a bit late this year, because we didn’t yet have the bright bursts of colors in the trees. But we had beautiful golden sunshine, and that was all we needed!
Moore family, thank you for another amazing session together! I can’t wait to see your updated photo wall in your home, and these adorable little faces that fill those frames and life with such joy! Enjoy some of my favorites from our evening together!
If that isn’t the mischievous look of a little boy on the go!
