Downtown Youngstown Engagement Session | Tessa + Scott
Super excited to share Tessa and Scott’s story with you all today, because this love story has been a long time in the making! I met Tessa and Scott at Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts in downtown Youngstown last week for their engagement session, and loved hearing them share their story, which began over ten years ago when they were just in high school! Scott made Tessa a mix CD of songs, and the final track he recorded his voice asking her out – and of course she said yes! Fast forward ten years later, and Scott surprised Tessa with a proposal in their kitchen while she was washing dishes – which of course she also said yes to! After she got over the initial shock! Scott got the ring and asked her father’s permission without Tessa having any clue, which is just the best surprise ever! Spending an evening with these two in downtown Youngstown was so much fun, because this couple is the real deal my friends. They compliment each other in so many ways, and love each other with the sureness that comes with a decade of practice. I loved hearing all the memories and stories they shared as we walked around downtown, especially the time Scott picked Tessa up for homecoming in his dad’s minivan! The beginning of a truly great love story, if I ever heard one!
