With the early changing leaves of October as the backdrop, Kelly and Matt stood before their family and friends at Stone Ledge Farm and shared their personal vows with each other. A true partnership in every way, these two are proof that life is best with your perfect match at your side. I remember during their engagement session, Kelly shared that one of the things she loves about Matt is how he challenges her to dig deeper both spiritually and intellectually, and that really stuck with me. I love that their relationship is rooted in the things that matter – past the lovey dovey phase of every new beginning, but charging forward knowing that they are a better person because of each other. The newlyweds cheered their way down the aisle, and we snuck away during cocktail hour for some time just the two of them before the party began. I have so many favorite moments from this beautiful day, but I think I’d have to say that bridal party portraits before the ceremony were my favorite! Kelly and Matt have such a fun group of friends, and they were so much fun to hang out with! I decided to have a little fun with them and asked them to have a little dance off while we played some music. Well Kelly took the challenge and busted out her most competitive dance moves, which may have resulted in a little grass stain on that beautiful dress! I think we all had so much fun that she hardly even cared though, and it turns out that hairspray removes grass stains – who knew?! This was my first time experiencing the amazing Stone Ledge Farm wedding venue, and I fell in love the minute we pulled up the drive! Such a beautiful location to celebrate a wedding, and the perfect spot for Kelly and Matt’s rustic dream day.
