Friends, I am so excited to share this extended family session with you on the blog today!  For so many reason!  1) This outfit inspiration needs to be added to your “What to Wear” Pinterest board ASAP.  2)  The location!!  The Poland Library is one of the prettiest architectural backdrops in the Youngstown area, and gives such a classic, timeless feel to photographs!  3)  It’s the Crum family!!!  And I just love every one of these humans to pieces.  These guys have been a part of my world for over half my lifetime!!  Is that crazy or what!  Danyelle and Freddy and I were all in youth group at church together, and all graduated high school in 2005.  These are life friends, right here!  The kind that even if months go by (which they seem to do quicker and quicker as we get older), we can pick right back up where we left off.  Their love story is one for the books, but I about combusted into a million pieces of joy when they fell in love and got married!!  Freddy just fits right into the wonderful Crum clan!  Danyelle’s brother Jeremy is married to the beautiful and sweet spirited Shawna, and together they have two baby girls!  Avery and Sierra!  They live in Columbus, and it is always so wonderful to have the chance to see them whenever they are in town.  I will never forget how Shawna helped me with one of my photography projects in college, and she shivered out in the cold and sat in the mud for me – what a friend!  And Danyelle and Jeremy’s parents Don and JoAnn are about as awesome as they come.  They treat everyone like family, and they open their home to everyone with open arms.

What an honor it was to capture these moments for such a beautiful family!  Extended family sessions are a lot of work and planning to organize and bring to life, but I am so grateful we made this happen!  Thank you Danyelle for all of your efforts in getting everyone’s schedules coordinated!  I hope you love all of these portraits, your love and joy for each other as a family shine through!
