Mamas, if I were to take a look at your camera roll on your phone, odds are I’d probably see scrolling thumbnails of your baby’s face – am I right?!  We tend to take photos of the people and things we love!  But how many times are YOU in the frame?!  Not very often, I’d venture to say.  This is unfortunately such a common problem, so it makes me SO HAPPY when mothers make the time to do a Mama & Me session!  Photographs of your children are priceless, but being in the frame with them makes those memories even more cherished.  And years from now, you both will be so happy to have those images of you together!

I first met Ashley last year when she did a coaching session with me, and it has been so cool to see how great she has gotten at using her camera and shooting in manual mode!  Her sweet baby Hayden was the inspiration for her to learn how to take beautiful photographs, because sometimes a cell phone snapshot just doesn’t capture moments how you want to.  Well she has been documenting Hayden’s first year of life, but that also means that she is typically BEHIND the camera!  When she reached out to me about doing a Mama & Me session with her daughter, I was so happy!  We planned to spend an afternoon at Beaver Creek State Park, which is such a fun place to explore!  Hayden LOVES nature and being outdoors, so she was just happy as could be!  It was so fun to see the excitement on her face as she splashed in the creek for the first time, and ran around the fields.  Ashley told me that Hayden has loved the outdoors since she was just a baby, which is so awesome!  We had the best evening, and I’m so happy that Ashley now has these moments of her and her daughter to cherish forever.  Ladies, thank you for adventuring with me, I had the BEST time with you two!!  Here are just some of my favorites!
