When Layla told me she wanted to do a photoshoot of her three kids spending time at her parents’ beautiful property in Coshocton where she grew up, I was immediately in love with the idea! The days spent at grandma and grandpa’s are just the best. I have so many special memories of the times my sister and I spent with both sets of our grandparents, and all the fun we had with them! Playing rummy and eating ice cream with Gramma Pat, riding the bus in downtown New Castle with Grandma Garner, watching old western movies starring John Wayne with Grandpa Garner, camping with Grampa Ray. Those little things that may not seem like anything special to anyone else, but they were the best moments, and I think back on them often.
I loved everything about this evening with Lynn and Mark at their beautiful home in the country with their grandkids Ethan, Rory, and Johannah. It had rained the entire day up until a couple hours before their session, but nobody even minded. We threw on our rain boots and went exploring around the beautiful pastures of their property. We took a bowl of apples and carrots and fed the donkey and pony, splashed through the creek, picked wildflowers, and hiked through the fields. All in all, it was a perfect evening. Ethan, Rory, and Johanna – how lucky you are to have your Pappy and Nienie! I hope you cherish all these memories you are making with them, and know how much they love you. Thank you for letting me share in your adventures for a day, you know I’ll be back! :)

A little rain and mud can’t ruin our fun!
The absolute best end to our evening together – Mark brought out his acoustic guitar and played some bluegrass hymns for us all.
Oh my goodness, Carlyn! My heart is full. You are such a blessing!
Just precious! You did a fabulous job!
Love this so much!!
