Oh friends, this engagement session that I am sharing with you today makes me want to cry with joy!  When someone you love finds their perfect match, the person who brings out their best self and makes them laugh and compliments them and balances them, there’s just nothing better than sharing in their joy and celebrating right alongside them.  Kami is my “sister-in-law” – not technically, but her brother is married to my sister….so pretty much the same thing.  She’s been a part of my life since I was a teen, and we have shared so many fun experiences over the years!  When I studied abroad in Florence, Italy my junior year of college, Kami immediately said she’d come visit!  That’s just the adventurous kind of spirit she is!  Everyone who knows Kami can’t help but love her, and she has a gift for loving others in such a unique way.  She can talk to anyone, and make them feel welcomed and loved and like family.  When Ravi came on the scene a few years ago, I can remember liking him right away.  He has such a kind heart and is a gentle encouragement to everyone.  He is a compliment to Kami in so many ways!  He popped the question to Kami last summer, and this July we get to celebrate their wedding!

Kami and Ravi live in Cleveland, so of course we had to capture their engagement session in the amazing city they both love!  We had a pretty chilly day for this shoot, but these guys just rolled with it!  We explored the awesome neighborhood of University Circle, and made it to Edgewater State Park just in time for the sunset.  Here are some of my favorites from our day together!  Kami and Ravi, thank you for braving the cold to make these memories!  I love you both and am so excited to share in your big day!!

Hello golden sunshine!  We even got some blue skies – a treat in March!

Edgewater is just outside the city…you can glimpse the Cleveland skyline in the distance!

The nice thing about shooting in winter – you just have to cuddle closer to stay warm!

We HAD to grab a shot with the new CLEVELAND sign!!  Look at that skyline, wow!  What a beautiful city to call home!
