I first met Abbey Mae and her family last year at their Christmas in the Country session!  This sweet thing was only about 6 months old when we last saw each other, so I was SUPER excited when her mama Krista wanted to do a spring birthday session for Abbey’s first birthday in May!  If you live in the Youngstown area, you NEED to add the spring bluebells of Poland Woods to your local adventures!  Poland Municipal Forest is one of my favorite places in the area, it’s just one of those hidden gems that seems to get looked over for some reason!  Beautiful trails wind their way through the quiet woods, and in springtime it is downright MAGICAL when the bluebells show their lovely faces!  Springtime sessions can be cold or rainy, especially here in Northeast Ohio, but the lush greenery and beautiful signs of spring coming to life just cannot be beat!

Take the magic of the bluebells, and add in the smiliest, happiest birthday girl, and the results are one of my favorite spring sessions of all time!  Miss Abbey looks like a little garden fairy planted in the middle of all the flowers!  I can hear her laughter and squeals of joy as I look back at her portraits, can’t you?  Happy 1st Birthday, Abbey Mae!!
