Well hello there!  This blog post is coming to you from the beautiful state of California!!  That’s right, we have arrived here on the west coast, and what an adventure it has been!  I didn’t blog last week since we were making the trek from Ohio to California and my car doesn’t have wi-fi, so I shall catch you up this week on all our adventures so far!  I feel like I could write twenty blog posts alone on the journey here, we live in an incredible country and there is just so much to see and experience.  From the mountains to the deserts, the snow and the sunshine, a cattle ranch to the Grand Canyon – the United States is brimming with beauty.  And California – I am speechless!  What a state!  San Diego is warm and welcoming in every way imaginable.  The people are so full of life and energy, and the first thing Ben and I noticed is that EVERYONE wants to say hello to you and ask you how you are doing!  The energy is contagious!  We have been able to do some exploring as we have gotten ourselves settled into our new home here, but I think it will take at least a month to make a dent in all that this city has to offer.  Here are just a few pictures from our travels west, I’m sure it won’t be a surprise to you that I went just a little snap-happy with the camera!  There is so much to share with you, so I’ll break it down over the next few days!  Here’s just a little taste for you for now, Happy Monday to you all!! :)
