The Erb Family

Well, here we are…Monday again!  And that usually means the Weekend Wrap-Up around here – but I’m switching things up today!  No sooner did the busy fall portrait season end this year before it was time to jump into Christmas sessions.  This weekend was the third round of Christmas at the Cabin, and it was yet another weekend of amazing families and holiday cheer!  I cannot wait to see everyone’s Christmas cards, we are having so much fun with this theme! There’s a lot of awesome families, kids, and couples to showcase here on the blog, so I’m picking up right where we left off last week.  Today you get to meet the Erb family – Jason, Joy, Emmet, and Elinor.  This was my first time meeting the entire Erb crew, but I met Joy back when I was in college at YSU.  She was my color photography professor!  So cool!  I have to admit, I was a little nervous when Joy booked a session with me.  There’s some extra pressure added when you are taking photos for another photographer!  The Erb family was so much fun, and Elinor and Emmet are so sweet!  Elinor has the kind of smile that is just infectious.  I can guarantee you will find a smile on your own face as you scroll through these!  Thank you Jason and Joy for bringing your kiddos out to the cabin for your Christmas photos, I had a great time with you!

P.S. everyone should thank Joy for teaching me how to train my eye to color-correct my images properly!  Especially skin tones! :)  You can visit her website right here.

Joy found this “Merry” banner at Target!  I think I need one for myself!

Emmet and Elinor’s wooden snowflakes were the perfect prop…

Cuties!!
