I don’t know if it’s her striking blue eyes, or her two-teeth grin, or possibly her impeccable fashion taste that makes Eliette the cutest 9 month old you’ll ever find.  This sweet pea showed up to her family session with a turban headband, and not everyone can pull off a hair accessory like that!  This was my first time meeting Miss Eliette, but I’ve known her parents for a while now!  Emily and David are one of my “cornerstone clients” – some of the first people who trusted me as their photographer to capture life’s biggest moments!  I have had the pleasure of taking Emily and David’s engagement and wedding photos, and it was an honor to photograph them once more as a family of three!  Of course I will always remember the fun times spent with this couple on their wedding day and engagement session day, but one thing I will ALWAYS remember….is how FREEZING COLD both of those days were!!  I am talking BITTER!  I think when you are shivering your tushie off outside in the cold for pictures with awesome people though, you create a certain bond :)  I was so grateful when the day of their family session rolled around and it was sweater weather and sunshine!  Yayyy, we finally broke our cold streak!  Eliette is just a doll, and Mom and Dad did a great job coaxing some smiles out her!  So go ahead, scroll through the Hartong family’s session in the orchard – and just try not to pass out from all the cuteness!

Eliette is big into screeching right now and really telling you how she feels about things.  This is the face she makes when she’s doing that.

Of course we had to get some of just Emily and David too!  These lovebirds haven’t lost their touch at all, all that engagement and wedding portrait posing stuck with them!
