Kaitlin is maybe the sweetest and most sincere, down-to-earth girl that I know.  I can say this with confidence because we have been friends for a few years now, so I’ve had the chance to get to know her and all the things that make her so wonderful.  She is honestly one of those friends who gets you through the hard times and encourages the heck out of you and loves you even when they shouldn’t.  So needless to say, I wanted to make sure she found the right guy who would know all of these things about Kaitlin and realize what a catch he found.  Luckily John is everything that Kaitlin could ever ask for, and then some!  They compliment each other in the best of ways, together they just fit.  I was so happy to snap these engagement portraits for the lovely couple, we started at John’s home in Cleveland with some coffee in the backyard!  Murphy is John’s lovable, furry, energetic pupster, and I don’t think I’ve ever met a dog who loves people more than Murphy!  He is such a lover!!  John and Kaitlin have been renovating this adorable bungalow, and it is awesome!  I love incorporating peoples’ homes into their photos!  From there we headed to the nearby park where I was basically fainting over the gorgeous fall colors gracing the trees – and the light!!  The LIGHT!  You’ll see what I mean!  Downtown Cleveland was a short drive away, so of course we had to end our evening with some city lovin’ and an awesome view of the Cleveland skyline!  I don’t often get to shoot in such incredible cities, so I was LOVING this opportunity!

 

Kaitlin and John I am SO HAPPY for you two, and so excited to be a part of your big day!  You two are wonderful together, and it was an honor to capture this wonderful season of your relationship :)  Take a look!!
