CKP Weekend Wrap-Up!

When I think of summertime, some of the first memories that come to mind are the years my family spent camping.  Pymatuning Campgrounds was always our go-to place, and I might go as far as saying it is my favorite place on earth.  Any time we catch a whiff of someone’s campfire, we always say “Smells like Pymatuning!”  Days were long and cares were few.  My sister and I rode our bikes over every inch of those gravel roads, spent hours swimming in the water, and eagerly awaited nightfall to go catch crayfish down in the rocks of the lake.  When you are camping, life is good.  This weekend my sister and her family snagged the perfect spot at Pymatuning right at the edge of the lake, and I’m so glad I got to spend some relaxing time with them in these last moments of summer.  When you are sitting by a campfire with the people you love, it’s easy to forget the busyness and stress of work and life (and wedding planning!).  Being away from phones and computers felt like a breath of fresh air.  I am grateful for this time of unwinding and memory making, and reminded of the importance of rest.  God is good!  Here’s some of the fun this weekend, as well as some sneak peeks at the Fantauzzi family session and Baby Savannah!  Happy Monday!
