Have you ever emailed someone you haven’t met, and you already know you’re going to like them?  Sometimes when you’re emailing and not talking face-to-face, it’s hard to tell what someone is really like – personality doesn’t always come through a computer screen.  Well from the first email Melanie sent me asking about her son Mikey’s birthday pictures, I knew right away we were a perfect fit!  I could just feel it in my soul.  And when we met the morning of Mikey’s session, all my hopes and dreams were confirmed!  Melanie and her husband Mike were so excited about their son’s portraits, and when people place a lot of value on the importance of photography and get excited about the experience, my heart beats a little faster.  Mikey is the perfect blend of his awesome parents, and soooo cute!!  His squishy little face just melts my heart!  And dad was getting some GREAT smiles out of him, Mikey’s face just lights up at the sight of his daddy!  Melanie and Mike I can’t even tell you how happy I am that we met, your family is just plain awesome!  Have fun celebrating your lil guy’s first birthday! :)

 

I’m telling you, being this cute is exhausting.

This kid cracks me up!  He’s got a bit of a grass phobia, but we worked around it…I love how he was testing out the waters from his adorable adirondack chair.
