Kasie & Aaron

They met in college, and quickly became the best of friends.  It’s easy to see that Kasie and Aaron are a perfect match – the way she smiles at the mention of his name, the way Aaron looks at Kasie!  I got to know these country cuties last summer at their engagement session on Aaron’s family’s dairy farm, and when you get to know them, you can’t help but love them.  Aaron just has a natural, easy calmness about him that makes you feel comfortable, and Kasie’s bubbly laugh is contagious.  The best weddings are the ones that are a reflection of the bride and groom, and that couldn’t be more true for the Nelson wedding.  From the boots and daisies to the dairy farm reception decor, this occasion was hands-down a celebration of Kasie and Aaron and their new life together!  I loved all the little details with special meaning that they incorporated into their day, like the four leaf clover Kasie pinned to her bouquet as a tribute to her Gram.  Including meaningful details are what make weddings unique and extra-special!

Congratulations to you Mr. and Mrs. Nelson, it was an honor to be a part of your big day!  So excited for your new adventure, you can’t beat life on a farm :)

That’s a good-lookin’ group of gals right there!

There’s a tradition at Old Calvary Church that the newlywed couple rings the bell after they are married!

Downtown Sandusky was perfect for bridal party portraits

Kasie’s sister and Matron of Honor Kallie is having a lil baby girl next month!  The pink baby boots just had to be included :)

A special way to remember Kasie’s Gram

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!

The Colonnade Banquet hall sure knows how to do an event!  They are awesome, and the staff is fantastic!  Check out how Kasie and Aaron incorporated the dairy farm theme into the centerpieces :)

April 12th is also Kasie’s grandparents’ anniversary!  Love that they did a special dance together, what a sweet couple :)

In my personal opinion, no wedding reception is complete without at least one polka.  Grandpa and all his granddaughters did a special polka, this was so fun to watch!

Congratulations Kasie and Aaron!!  Yeeeeeehaw!!!

Thank you so much for sharing. I was Aaron’s kindergarten teacher. He’s certainly grown into a fine young man. Sending many blessings to the happy couple.
