HEY YOU!  Are you a local small business owner?  Do you know someone running their own small business?  If so, then this post is for you!

I am adding a new feature to the CKP Blog, and this is going to require your help!  If you know me, you know I love small businesses and all you GO-GETTERS out there with the drive and dedication to pursue your passions in a really big way!  No really, I love you.  And I want to hear more from you!  If you’d like to be a featured blogger up in here, this is your chance!  Here is what I’m looking for:

* Someone who discovered their passion, and decided to follow it.  Pretty simple.

* You DO NOT have to be a photographer!  This is going to be open to business owners of all types!

* You DO have to be willing to be honest about lessons you’ve learned along the way, and willing to share your advice with readers!

* Maybe you’ve been running your business for a few months, or maybe a few years.  Whether you’ve been doing this for a while or not long at all, you’ve likely learned some things regarding your business or your craft that you can share with us.

* Maybe your small business is more like your side job or hobby that you only do on weekends or evenings.  Cool!  We want to hear from you!

* “Sure I have a small business, but what would I even write about as a featured blogger??”  Here is what I’m envisioning these featured blogs to look like:  some background information about you and your business, as well as the chance to talk about something relating to your business in a way that is interesting and relevant to readers.  Bonus points if you’re funny.  One rule:  DON’T BE BORING!  No one likes reading boring stuff.

This is a brand new thing here that I really want to try out, so that also means that I’m learning as I go!  I have some general ideas in my head but maybe these guest blogs will end up being completely different then my original vision.  But putting the call out there to all you small businesses is the first step to making this happen, so now the next step….
